Places to Eat Breakfast/Lunch
Waffle House
An Atlanta staple, if you’ve never had it before, take a morning and experience it.
Great brunch, and really pretty surrounding area. Has a neighborhood feel.
Close to the hotels and on the edge of Piedmont Park, is a great easy option for breakfast. Take a walk in the park after!
Places to Eat Dinner
Julia’s favorite Tex-Mex ever. Fabulous chips, queso, guac, and margaritas. The taco salad and enchiladas verdes are standout menu items.
One of Drew and Julia’s favorites, this has great seafood and even better hush puppies.
A more casual spot, this is pizza is fantastic and definitely holds it’s own with New York spots.
Things to Do
Go see a whale shark! Take a ride on the moving walkway through a tank! A great indoor activity for all ages.
While the braves aren’t playing this weekend, the area surrounding the stadium is full of really fun restaurants and bars.
A great art museum that has everything from modern art to European impressionist paintings.
